Traditionally, family engagement (also referred to as parental engagement) has focused on children’s learning and finding ways for families to support their child academically.

But academic outcomes aside, how do we actually go about engaging with parents and carers – strategically, sustainably and positively – around the sometimes sensitive subject of behaviour?
