With this course you will be fully trained to become a Team Teach trainer in positive behaviour management so you can deliver Team Teach training to colleagues within your organisation.
Having your own in-house Team Teach trainer offers you flexibility to choose when, where and who you deliver your training to throughout the year and it is also a cost-effective option for your organisation.
Who is the course for?
This course is for individuals who want to lead on, and support the delivery of training in positive behaviour management strategies throughout their own organisation.
Your certification:
Once you’ve successfully completed the 5-day course, you’ll be equipped and certified to deliver both our Level One – 6 Hour and Level Two – 12 Hour Positive Behaviour Management courses. Your Intermediate Certification in Positive Behaviour Management is then valid for 12 months.
What’s included?
This 5-day intensive course provides participants with a wide range of de-escalation, positive handling and intervention strategies to confidently deliver training themselves.
The course includes a minimum of two team presentations to the whole group.
5-day course - £1950/person
Please note, there are limited free parking spaces on Street 26C next to the school and access to the course venue will be through the North Gate. If the free parking is taken, there are nearby payable parking options on Street 32B on the opposite side of the school complex.
Lunch will not be provided each day but there is an onsite canteen, nearby cafeterias and food delivery is reliable to this location.

Meet the Trainer
Nancy Hooper
Learning and Development Lead
Nancy Hooper has been working in behaviour support for over twenty-five years across various settings, from community homes to forensic secure services. She works globally, developing staff understanding of behaviours, and creating transformational change within organisations in the health, social care, and education sectors.
Nancy started her career as a learning disability nurse working with adults in an assessment and treatment service. It was here that she developed a passion for understanding behaviour. She completed a master’s degree in Intellectual Disability. She worked as a behaviour support specialist, providing intensive support to staff and families working with children and adults across a wide range of services. This allowed her to develop innovative ways of thinking about behaviour, create person centred strategies for people in distress, and support staff in finding positive ways of working with people who presented with behaviours that challenge.
While Nancy provided direct support and strategies as a behaviour specialist, she also started training staff across services around ways to reduce risk and restraint. This thirst to improve care and cultures across organisations has led to her providing consultancy, training, and coaching to organisations and staff teams around the world.
