"95% of the Team Teach training and the Team Teach courses is not about physical intervention at all, it's all about those de-escalation techniques. If there were other schools considering investing in Team Teach trainers, I would be telling them not to hesitate because it allows their staff to be competent and confident to positively manage behaviour within their school. "

Kieron Scott, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Academy Director, Paignton Academy

"Staff feel more confident and workers in charge can lead by example. Holding has reduced because staff have used more diversion techniques, staff confidence has increased and there's a better understanding between team members."

Paul Funnell, Disability Youth Service Lead Manager, Croydon Council
